Product Description:Amberlite IRC-84 is also known as Cation-exchange resins. Any one of various insoluble organic polymers with high molecular weights that exchange their cations for other cations in solution. Amberlite IRC-84 (Cation-exchange resins) are used especially to restrict intestinal sodium absorption in patients with edema.

cation:
