DPGME is also used in a wide variety of household and commercial cleaning products including glass, surface, paintbrush, carpet, and all-purpose cleaners, floor polish, industrial degreasers, aluminium brighteners, and rust removers. It is also used in chemicals for the oil production and drilling industry.
