Product description :Sulprostone is a metabolism-resistant synthetic analog of PGE2, that is a selective EP3 prostanoid receptor agonist. This compound has been shown to be a potent stimulator of uterine smooth muscle contractions, and to prevent expression of epithelial sodium channels in rat renal medulla. This compound has been classified as an oxytocic due to its physiological effects. Sulprostone is an activator of EP1.
